Is it Even Possible to Have a Merry Christmas in 2020?

Hell if I know.  I'm not the one to ask, anyway.  After all, I don't even celebrate Christmas.  But for those of you do, Here's my wishes for the best one you can possibly have in these crazy times.

I do think this version (below) of the beloved Christmas classic is the perfect one for Christmas, 2020.  It's the original version, Judy Garland's somber rendition from the movie Meet Me in St. Louis. So here's wishing you the best, and hoping that you all can "muddle through somehow."

And for those of you who need some Christmas cheer, I hope these pictures below will enhance your Yule log.  Enjoy!

  2. Thanks for sharing an Xmas post with us Rob! My Xmas goodie bags that I gave to friends had a high quality mask and Jack Links beef jerky and a few paragraphs of holiday season wishes for the best. From your wonderful pics I choose #5 Laura Ingram begging to be motorboated! May the year 2021 be our return to normality and POKER. Happy New Year Rob!!!

    1. Hmmm....You think that blonde girl with the mega cleavage, Santa Cap, leaning forward looks like Laura Ingraham? Really? I don't see it. But hey, to each his own fantasy.

  4. Actually, with my move to Arizona, I felt like I had a pretty good Christmas, although it certainly did not look not feel like Christmas at my new place. Maybe next year.

You certainly had a rough year in 2020. My best wishes for you to have an excellent 2021 in every way possible, oh valued friend.

    1. Thank you for the well wishes, my friend. And sorry I didn't see your comment sooner. Happy new year to you too. Hope you like AZ. What's not to do like? You're very close to a poker room and a lot closer to Vegas. And snow should be an exceedingly rare occurrence.

    1. I'm really not sure how to interpret that comment, Sethanon. But since I wouldn't last more than a few hours on foot to Texas before keeling over and dropping dead, I'm more than a little concerned.

    3. Yes. Also Florida. But why suggest I WALK there? Cars and planes haven't been outlawed (yet).

      That was the scary part.

  6. I suppose that will make a good story, and it will get you some topic to write about . That is if you make it without dropping dead like you suggested.
