These Are Not the Boobs You're Looking For

As I’ve mentioned numerous times—and as anyone who has been following my blog since the beginning can attest—the current blog is not exactly what I had envisioned when I started this thing.

My original idea was that it would be made up of silly and perhaps outrageous stories of things I encountered in Vegas, some at the poker table, some elsewhere.  I really hadn’t expected to be talking about actual poker nearly as much as I have.  But the blog has a mind of its own.  I’m still on the lookout for silly and outrageous stories of course…they just seem to come at me less and less frequently.  And fortunately, I’ve had many, many things to say about poker to make up for it—hopefully some of it is even insightful.

But this past Saturday something happened at the table that was very much in line with the kind of stories I initially expected to be telling here.  In fact, the story reminded me of one I told before the blog was even a month old.  That story you can find here.  Since it is so old, I doubt most of my current readers have ever read it, so you might want to take a look at it, should be new to most of you.

And I dare say, having just re-read that post for the first time in years while getting ready to write this post, I believe this might have been the post that gave Prudence the totally ridiculous notion that I am “obsessed with bosoms” (see here for another one of my earliest posts.).

The surprising thing was that this happened in L.A., not Las Vegas.  I mean, I sure didn’t expect to get another story about a woman almost flashing her boobs in an L.A. casino.  Vegas is usually full of women who tempt the fates and come dangerously close to exposing the boobs, unintentionally or otherwise. I guess that’s one of the things I love about Vegas.  Sure, L.A. has places where that is more likely to happen to, but L.A. poker rooms are not any of the places.]

Usually.

So there I was playing 1/2 at the PC Ventura again.  After about an hour, a well dressed, mature woman took a seat across from me.  Now the star of that early post I linked was middle-aged, and this lady was probably a bit beyond middle aged. I have no idea if this lady is collecting social security, but I’d bet that she is old enough to.  The lady in my original story I called Joan, so let’s call this lady Joan2.  By the way, when I just now read my old post, I had no idea if Joan was her real name or if I pseudonymed her.  I decided to check my name conversations spreadsheet and sure enough, not only was “Joan” on it with her real name, but she was actually the very first entry on it!

As I said, Joan2 was neatly dressed.  Nice jewelry, hair perfectly in place, nice, almost professional looking outfit for a woman her age.  She could have easily gone to work in any office I’ve ever seen in that outfit.  She had a nice jacket on, and underneath that was a top that was perhaps the only problem with the outfit.  It was a tad lowcut, and she was showing some cleavage.  Not much, mostly because that jacket covered most of her, but some.  Of course, I am not morally opposed to cleavage (shocking, I know).  But sadly, I think there is an age-limit for this, and I think this woman was on the other side of the limit.

Still, it wasn’t like it was offensive or anything.  And then, suddenly, I looked up and she was reaching into her top and I saw the white of her bra for a second, and then she stuck her bra back into her top and that was the end of it. I assume she was adjusting her bra.  At least that was all I saw.  Perhaps the dealer, a guy who was probably approaching middle-age, may have seen more.  Or maybe not.  All I know is that Joan2 was laughing and saying something like, “I didn’t mean to do that,” or maybe “I shouldn’t have done that.” And she made some reference to exposing herself, but I don’t think she used either the words “flash” or “boobs” (or any other euphemism for breasts).

The dealer however, was not about to let this go.  He said something like, “Well, I certainly didn’t expect to see anything like that when I woke up this morning.”  Then he added, “I’ve seen smaller pocket pairs.”  A few minutes later, Joan2 won a pot, and as the dealer pushed it to her, he said, “Well there you go, you show me your breasts, I’ve got to push a pot.”  Joan2 giggled with just a little bit of embarrassment every time the dealer made a crack like this.  At one point, she did say to the woman next to her, “I should have gone to the Ladies Room to do that.”

Honestly, I was a bit surprised the dealer would make the comment about the lady showing him her breasts.  Seems rather inappropriate, even if Joan2 was being a good sport about.  I suspect that Joan2 is a regular though, and the dealer probably had a pretty good idea Joan2 was cool.

A few minutes later, as he was dealing the hand, he said to a older gentleman sitting two seats away from Joan2, and obviously a regular, “Now David, don’t you go showing me your breasts.  It won’t work if you do that.”  David insisted he had no such intention.

Had the dealer seen appreciably more than I had?  I don’t think so, but I can’t be sure.  And other than for the purpose of this story, I’m not really worried that I might have missed a boob-flash or a semi-boob flash.  I might have seen a teeny, tiny bit of additional cleavage when she reached in, that was it.

But anyway, those weren’t the boobs I was looking for.  So if I missed them, I didn’t really miss them.  As it happened, again unusual for an L.A. poker room, there actually was a rather attractive, much younger woman sitting immediately on my right.  I dare say, if one of the women at the table was going to be showing more boobage than they intended, I certainly would have wanted it to be the woman on my right.

I noticed her before she got to the table.  For just a brief second, from a distance, I spotted her as she was headed to the table.  I saw blonde hair and cleavage—lots of it—approaching.  But in a nano-second they were gone, as she zipped up her sweatshirt to the very top—and it was a turtle neck.  But she had a very impressive figure.  Both the sweatshirt and her sweatpants (maybe yoga pants?) were form fitting.  Her bosom was several levels beyond being “ample” and the rest of her figure was outstanding as well.  She had curves in all the right places.  And let me just say, I saw her leave the table a few times, and viewing her walking away was a very pleasant sight.

Now, those were the boobs I was looking for.  Sadly, she never unzipped her sweatshirt.

As for the poker, there were not a lot of interesting hands.  I was never down too much, and then came back.  I guess the best hand was when I rivered a King-high flush.  I bet the river and just called a raise, fearing the Ace-high flush was out there.  But his was only Queen-high.

At this table, there was not a lot of preflop raising at all.  And the preflop raises there were were all pretty small (less than $10).  What is interesting is that I seemed to be the only one at the table who knew you had to increase your raise if there were a lot of limpers.  So perhaps the most telling hand was when I had Queen-Jack of diamonds in late position.  There were a ton of limpers. I probably should have made it $16 but figured $14 was good enough.  I was right, not one of the limpers, or the blinds, called.  I think anyone else at that table who had a hand they wanted to raise with in my position wouldn’t have made it above $8 and probably gotten a few calls.  I was happy grabbing all the limps and not having to pay a rake.

The worst hand for me was actually one where I dodged a bullet.  I raised to $10 after one limper with pocket Aces. I got three callers which made it one of the biggest preflop pots I saw.  The flop was Jack-high, two diamonds, and the one red Ace in my hand was a heart.  I bet out $30 and a short stack shoved for $67.  I had about $90 at that point.  I think I would have called purely on a stack-to-pot ratio basis but another player shoved as well.  He had me covered by quite a bit.  I just didn’t think my Aces were good against two all-ins, so I folded.  The shorter stack had a set of Jacks.  The bigger stack had King-9 of diamonds.  He missed his flush—but went runner-runner for a straight.  I got off cheap.

There’s one other hand I’ll mention that I was only in marginally, but I thought it was interesting.  A bunch of limpers, then the guy in the cut-off—the closest thing we had to an aggro—made it $6.  Again, way too many limpers for that small a raise.  I was the small blind and decided to take a small risk by calling with Jack-8 of diamonds.  I figured the pot would get pretty large and it was worth a nickel to try to smash it.  But then, when it got around to the under-the-gun player, he bumped it to $26.  Interesting.  He had limped in  It folded to the raiser who tanked forever, and then shoved (over $100).  I had him covered but didn’t waste any time folding.  The limp/re-raiser shoved (a bit less than the raiser). They both showed.  The UTG player had two Aces.  The other guy had Ace-King.  Ace-King didn’t improve and the guy with Aces had a nice double up.

I probably shouldn’t even mention that there was a Jack on the flop and an 8 on the river, so if I had shoved preflop I would have won.  But of course, that would have been a terrible play on my part.

The thing I want to mention though is the guy pulling the ol’ limp/re-raise move.  I thought it was a terrible play on his part.  I did a post about the limp/re-raise a couple of years back (here).  At the time, I just ranted against it on general principles, just because it pissed me off.  But now, I realize that it can sometimes be a very good play.

But not in this situation.  The guy had been at the table long enough to know that there wasn’t much preflop raising going on at this table.  So it was a stupid risk, most likely having to hope those Aces would hold up against 5-6 other hands.  He was lucky he found someone with Ace-King.  Actually, there were plenty of players at this table that wouldn’t have raised with Ace-King.

Anyway, seems to me you have to have a certain kind of table to attempt the limp/re-raise with your Aces.  If you are at a game where preflop raises are the norm, and someone is always raising, then yeah, take a risk that this won’t be the one hand in 10 where everyone limps.  Or sometimes you’re at a table where that one certain maniac raises 90% of the time.  Sure, go ahead and limp, knowing the odds are overwhelming that the maniac is going to raise and you can re-pop it.  But man, at this table?  Dumb move, but it totally worked out for him.

Anyway, that was probably the last session here in town before I hit Vegas for the first weekend of March Madness.  I was experimenting around the past few weeks with the shortish buy-in 1/2  game.  It was kind of fun as a change of pace.  Dunno if I go back to it when I return from Vegas.  Will have to see.  Anyway, I managed to eek out a $20 profit in a few hours.

Kissing, Motorboating, And a Little Poker at the WPBT

I needed to be in Vegas in early December to play the WPBT Winter Classic, an event I played in for the third straight year.  My previous reports on this event can be found here and here.  In the first one, I reported on some excellent girl-on-girl smooching, and in the second one, I reported on personally cashing in the event, so you might want to take the time to refresh your memory by reading those two posts.

WPBT stands for “World Poker Bloggers Tour” and the first post I linked to above explains everything you need to know about it.

Before I get to it, I just want to say that, as usual for this event, I will be using “real names.”  At least real in the sense that I will be using people’s real Twitter or Blogging handles.  Ordinarily when I tell stories like this one, I would come up with my own pseudonyms.  But these events took place in full view of my fellow bloggers (or semi-retired bloggers, who are now mostly Tweeters), so it would be silly to assign them phony names.  Besides, by now, everyone knows the types of posts I do.  They knew who I am.  They know I was there.  They had ample opportunity to ask me not to blog about any specific events I witnessed and did not do so.  So I figured I have at least implied consent to tell this story in my own perverted unique way.  Note:  If ever anyone asks me not to blog about something I’ve heard or witnessed, I will always honor that request.  I have done so numerous times.

I arrived at the Aria a bit before the scheduled 11AM starting time.  I immediately found Lightning, who has already reported on this event in the post here.  But I should warn you, his post is mostly about the poker. This post is mostly not about poker.

Lightning had been in town for a day or two, same as me, but this was the first time we had gotten together this time.  We had agreed to be “last longer” partners.  I’m not sure which one of us got the worst of that deal.  Probably both of us.

Lightning was talking to yestbay who was running the last-longer pool.  I greeted him and gave him my $10, which I will never see again.  We had a nice little chat and then Lightning introduced me to AgSweep, a long-time member of the TBC inner-circle.  We had a really nice, all too short conversation.  Part of the conversation consisted of AgSweep telling us about some of the things she’s done to help Tony in the past.  Part of the conversation concerned her telling me that she likes my blog (this was my favorite part).  She said she even liked my Slut Parade posts, and the slut parade itself.  AgSweep said she is amused watching the girls trying to—and so often failing to—successfully walk in the very high heels they are wearing.  She thinks it’s ridiculous that the girls don’t bother learning how to walk in those shoes if they are going to wear them. She also mentioned that her son likes the Slut Parade, but I suspect his reasons have little to do with the girls’ shoes.  And to be honest, she did mention that she sometimes doesn’t read all the way through my posts.  Which is weird, because I’ve never heard that before.

Another person I talked to briefly before things began was Numbono.  It turned out that, for the first time in three years, we were not at the same starting table.  It was Numbono who gave me the title of last year’s post about the event.

The hosts of this event were PokerVixen and CK, same as last year.  Both these wonderful ladies are vital members of the Vegas poker community and just as they did the previous year, they did a fantastic job organizing the event.  Before the tournament started, I was able to chat briefly with both and CK even greeted me with a hug.  During the tournament she referred to me at least once as “robvegaspoker.”

That was nice, but what was not-so-nice was that CK was assigned to the seat directly to my left.  Nothing personal against her, it’s just that I know from both experience and reputation she is a very tough poker player.  Her nickname is “The Black Widow of Poker” and she’s earned it.

On top of that, PokerVixen was also at my table.  She too is an excellent player.  I thought it was weird that the two organizers were assigned to the same table, but it was just random.  Also at my table was Grange, the third straight year I had the misfortune to be at the same starting table as him.  Misfortune that is, only because he’s such a damn good poker player.

I tweeted out my table and seat number in case there was anyone there that wanted to meet me (yes, there actually are people who want to meet me).  I also tweeted out about my table mates.

One response came from JacqMinx, who I’ve been tweeting back and forth with for some time, but whom I had never met.  I don’t think she’s ever commented on the blog but I know she has read it based on some the tweets she’s sent me.

Remember the girl Didi, who pulled down her shirt to expose her purple bra?  Of course you do, but if you need a reminder you can find it here. Within minutes of her pulling down her top, I sent out a tweet telling all my followers that she had done it. When she pulled down her shirt, she announced that she had big tits, and that was definitely one time a poker player was not bluffing.  Of course, I mentioned in my tweet this announcement of hers.

Almost immediately I got a tweet back from JacqMinx, “It wasn’t me!”

That may have been my first real interaction with her so I was a bit surprised, but I tweeted back to her, “Why the heck not?”

She responded, “I don’t have a purple bra.  Give new meaning to ‘deal to the stack, not the rack!’”

My kind of woman, obviously, even if I had never heard that particular expression before.

Last summer I did a post (with pics) about “The Devil Girl of Fremont Street” (see here).  Soon after it was live, JacqMinx tweeted to me, “this was not the ‘Devil’ I was expecting.  38DDD was the one I saw.  Lol.”

See why I wanted to meet her?  (BTW, I never did find the Devil girl she was talking about).

Anyway, she tweeted at me that I was at a tough table and told me her table number.  The tournament had already started and she had her back to me; I was only able to see the back of head.  But I did catch up to her during the break and we had time for a nice little chat (both of us saying, “nice to finally meet you in person” at practically the same time).

The tournament started and the conversation was flowing.  CK was talking about how, in high school and/or college, she was in the Theater Arts program and had done some acting.  One of the guys at the table (someone I couldn’t identify) rudely asked if she had ever tried porn.

She said no. “I got no boobs.”  She grabbed her chest when she said this. “They like the big, inflated boobs,” explaining why she couldn’t do porn.

I’m not sure if the porn discussion was the lead in, but soon someone mentioned the subject of girl-on-girl action.  And CK said, rather matter-of-factly, “Yeah, I’ve done that before.  At this tournament in fact.” She was of course referring to the kissing display with another woman that I talked about in very first post I linked to above.

To which PokerVixen, looking directly at me, responded, “Yeah, and then Rob writes a blog about it.”

Around this time, I started hear the expression “sister-wife” coming from CK.  One of her “sister-wives” was Michelle, her accomplice from two years ago.  But she was now talking about sister-wife #2.  Sister-wife #2 was obviously at this very event (unlike Michelle).  And lo and behold, it turned out that it was none-other-than JacqMinx! Actually, I think CK indicated that JackMinx was going to be sister-wife #2.  And it seemed like we were all about to witness the initiation.

At this point, we must have been past the first break, because JacqMinx’s table had broken and she had moved to the same table as Lightning.  Suddenly, at a moment when CK was out of a hand, she got up, went over to JacqMinx, and kissed her right on the lips.  Needless to say, this got the attention of pretty much everyone in the room.

A little later, I noticed JacqMinx’s tweet to CK.  “the convo at my table is about makeout sessions with you.”  To which CK tweeted back, “now it is all about us!”

Of course, I couldn’t let this go by without a comment, so I tweeted back to both of them, “Details coming soon to a blog post near you. Thanks, ladies.”

Ok, so it’s not exactly “soon.”  Sorry.  But JacqMinx favorited my tweet, so I can only assume she is has been eagerly waiting for this blogpost for all this time.

When I caught up to her again, after I busted, JacqMinx told me she was surprised. “I didn’t give any tongue, but CK did.”

Speaking of busting, I guess I should get to the actual poker, since it won’t take very long. But don’t worry, we’ll get back to the girl-on-girl action before this is over, trust me.

First level (25/50) I called PokerVixen’s raise to $150 with Ace-Queen. I think it was three-handed.  The flop was King-high.  She bet $250 and I called.  The turn was a blank and we both checked.  The river was a Queen and we both checked.  She turned over pocket Jacks and when she saw that I had rivered her, she said, “Aww, I should have bet.”

Against another player I hit a set of 7’s after calling a preflop raise.  I just called the c-bet when I hit my set on a rainbow board, but he checked the turn and didn’t call my bet.

Then came the hand the killed me.  It was only the second level (50/100) and I was down to about 8K or so from the 10K starting stack.  I had pocket 6’s.  I limped in; no one raised.  Again I caught my set, but this time there were two spades.  The guy to CK’s left led out for $500. I made it $1,500.  CK, sitting between the two of us, called, and the initial bettor called.

The turn was a damn spade.  The guy who bet the flop checked.  I checked.  CK bet out $3,500.  The guy next to her shoved for around $4,500-$4,800.  I had that covered, and I knew that shove wasn’t big enough for CK to re-raise if I just called.  Even on a three-spade board, I just couldn’t bring myself to fold a set.  I guess I should have, but I figured if I called I’d still have chips left and I’d see the river and maybe catch my boat.  Besides, I couldn’t be sure either one of them had the flush, right?  And I sometimes take chances like that in tournaments to catch a really big pot early.

I called.  CK actually tried to raise but the dealer informed her all she could do was call.  I got to see the river card which was worthless to me.  When CK went all in on the river (she had me covered), I knew I was beat, so I folded.  In fact, they both had flushes.  CK had Ace-2 of spades and the other guy had King-Queen of spaces.  He was gone and I was on life support.  I didn’t show but I did tell CK that I had a set.

So I started level 3 (100/200) with about 2K and thus was in desperation mode.

Thus, when with only one limper, who happened to be Grange, I shoved with Ace-6 suited.  It folded back to Grange. He was reluctant to call, he didn’t want to show his hand, but he had a big stack so he had to call my short-shove.  He showed 7-2.  Note: At these blogger tournaments, there is always a big deal made whenever anyone wins with 7-2, ie, “the hammer,” and in fact, PokerVixen had little prizes she was giving out for anyone who won a pot with that hand.

The flop was all blanks.  The turn was a deuce, which seemingly ended my tournament.  But no, a second later, the dealer put an Ace on the board to save me.  Grange of course laughingly protested that I had sucked out on him.  I pointed out that he was ahead for all of five seconds. Grange protested that it would have been a much better hand for me to write about if I hadn’t sucked out on him.  Do you agree?

My $3k+ stack didn’t last much longer.  UTG, I had King-9 of hearts, and desperate as I was, I shoved.  It was my first opportunity in many hands to open the pot, it had almost always be raised before it got to me. CK, right behind me with a nice big stack, called.  No one else did. She had Ace-Jack off.  The flop was 10-high, but the turn was a King, giving me hope.  Then a Queen on the river gave her the straight and my tournament was over.

CK not only hugged me goodbye but gave me a little peck on the cheek.  Now, I believe that, by the commutative law of kissing, this means I’ve kissed JacqMinx as well.

After busting, I was in serious need of food.  I took the brief stroll through the walkway between Aria and Monte Carlo and ate at one of the pricier Subways on the planet (because it’s located on the Strip).  So it cost me nearly $11 for a foot long tuna sub (no drink, no chips).

Then I returned to the Aria to see how my last-long partner was doing.  Sadly, not too well, but he was still alive.  I railed for him for a bit.. I have to say, my timing was beyond incredible.

You see, while I was standing behind Lightning, JacqMinx busted out (sorry).  By this time they were down to two tables and Lightning and CK were at the same table, more or less across from each other.  JacqMinx came by to say goodbye to her sister-wife, CK.  And that goodbye consisted of another kiss on the lips between the two of them.  But that wasn’t all.  CK was sitting and JacqMinx, who isn’t the tallest woman I’ve ever seen, was standing right next to her.

So CK leaned up and buried her face in JacqMinx’s chest and essentially motorboated her through her top.  Now, being a gentleman, I never, ever notice a woman’s chest, as all of you readers know.  But I have a strong feeling that if I somehow had noticed JackqMinx’s chest, I might possible have noticed that it was completely covered and not at all unnoticeable.  After the motorboating, CK just rested he head gently on JacqMinx’s chest for a few seconds (it seemed like a half hour to me, but I’m pretty sure it was just a few seconds).

At this point, I leaned into Lightning and said, “I do have good timing, don’t I?”  I think I may have also said to him, “And I was here to see that.”  To be honest, I’m not sure if Lightning even heard me—or even saw what was going on—because, silly boy, he was actually paying attention to the poker.

I decided to head over to MGM after that, and Lightning agreed that he would join me there in the unfortunate event that he busted from the tournament.

The story of the rest of the day will have to wait for another time (unless you have read Lightning’s short version of it).  (Edited to add:  That time is now!  See the foolishness of the rest of the day right here!)

These experience with the WPBT was the quickest ever for me, but I certainly couldn’t complain about the blogging material I scored.  Looking forward to next year!

Jewish Poker Championships at the Palms

What do Jews do on Christmas Day?

Eat Chinese Food.

That’s an old joke.  You see, the only eateries open on Christmas Day (outside of Vegas, that is) are Chinese Restaurants.  Even Jewish Delis usually close for Christmas.

This year, maybe some Jews will be playing poker at the Palms, competing for the title of “Best Jewish Poker Player.”  Check out the website PlayJewishPoker For the second straight year, these folks are sponsoring the Jewish Poker Championships over Christmas in Vegas.  It will be held on Dec 24-25.

I did plug last year’s event (held at the Venetian) in my Ante Up column.  I wanted to do that again, but unfortunately by the time they announced the venue, it was too late to get it mentioned in the magazine before the event actually occurs.  So I’m mentioning here on the blog.

As I said, this year it will be held at the Palms.  I find that slightly amusing, because the actual name of the Palms poker room is the Cantor Palms Poker Room.   “Cantor” comes from the fact that Cantor Gaming owns the poker room, and not because there’s an actual Cantor associated with the casino.  However….last year, when I dropped in on the event at the Venetian, Moses was there.  So perhaps they will have an actual Cantor there this year.  I just hope they don’t have a Mohel.

Last year’s event drew 18 people and they are hoping to triple that (at least) this year.  They’ve reduced the buy in from $1080 to $550 to entice more players to show up.

I’ll probably drop in, and perhaps this time I can write something about the event afterwards.  I won’t be playing in it, however, I’m too much of a schnorrer for that.

The event is open to everyone—you don’t have to be Jewish to play.  Anyone who likes poker and doesn’t do the traditional family Christmas thing should consider playing.  What could it hurt?

There’s a nice article about the tournament and the promoters here. And you can follow the very activeTwitter feed of the promoters here.

Now, below is a picture of model Bar Refaeli.   To the best of my knowledge, Ms. Refaeli will not to be attending this event, and is not a poker player.  But she is Jewish, and since, as you can see, she’s friggin’ gorgeous, I’d rather include a picture of her than some male Jewish poker player.
So sue me.

Would Patch Adams Kiss the Girl in the Purple Bra?

There will be a number of references to breasts in this post.  I apologize in advance.  But this post about a person who is obsessed with breasts.  No, not me.  It is about a woman is obsessed with breasts, at least her own.

I did a couple of posts last month about a girl I gave the name “Didi’ to.  You can see those posts here and here. Didi is the girl who, among other things, revealed to everyone at the table that she wears a 36DD bra (hence the name “Didi”).  She also liked to bet in prime numbers and decided that I look like Robin Williams—specifically Robin Williams in Mrs. Doubtfire.  She even threw a celphone across the table at me to show me the scene in that movie where I looked like him.  It was not her celphone, by the way, it was the player to her right’s.

That story took place early in my late May/early June trip to Vegas.  I noticed Didi several times during that trip, seeing her at other tables, but I was never sent to the table she was at and I did not go out of my way to play with her.  I hadn’t had a good session, pokerwise, when I played with her that one time.  And she played erratically, raising very big, and seemed to be a luckbox.  So it was hard to play my game with her at the table.  Besides, I thought, I had heard her schtick, and I figured I got all the blogging material I could out of her.
I was wrong.
My last night in town of that particular visit was a Sunday night, and I was assigned a table right near the front of the room.  As I took the open seat, seat 1, I noticed Didi at the table behind me. She was sitting at seat 9 at that table so I had a good view of her and also was within hearing range of her.  Of course, in her case, you didn’t have to be in very near proximity to her to hear her.
Our eyes met and she recognized me.  I believe we had said hello to each other once or twice when we played at separate tables.  This time, she pointed to me and said, “Patch Adams!”
Patch Adams?  Patch Adams was one of the more obscure, least popular movies that Robin Williams ever made.  Most people have mercifully forgotten its existence by now.  There are at least a million Robin Williams characters better known that Patch Adams, including the aforementioned Mrs. Doubtfire.  And yet now she was calling me “Patch Adams?”  Well, I guess it was better than being identified with a cross-dresser—not that there’s anything wrong with that.
I said hello to her by her real name and couldn’t help noticing her stack.  Yes, I mean stack of chips.  She was almost invisible behind the huge stack of chips in front of her, and there were $100 bills in front of her too.  She was clearly having a very good night.
Oh, and yes, I did notice her rack too.  Sorry, I couldn’t help it.  Not only was it 36DD but she was wearing a v-neck t-shirt that revealed a whole lot of cleavage, of which she had plenty to reveal.
I recalled that the table she was at was usually a 2/5 game, not a 1/2, so I asked my dealer if that was a 2/5 game and indeed it was.  Didi was moving up in the world.
The seating was perfect for me in the sense that I could hear pretty much of all her outrageous comments without actually having to play at the same table with her.  Of course it did distract from the poker at my table.  All I will tell you about this poker session for me was that it was not a good one, but there were no particularly memorable hands.  I will also point out that this session took place the night after the story I told here took place, and that the Dutch guys I talked about in that post joined my table soon after I got there.  And they also knew Didi from a previous session, apparently.
Almost immediately, I heard Didi telling her male dealer that she would give him half the pot if she won it.  And then demanded a kiss from him just as she had before.  By now all the dealers were familiar with her routine and kissed her on the check without a fuss.
Later one of my dealer pals told me that he figured that, between two other dealers and himself, she had probably tipped over $1,000 that night, already. At one point she had at least $4,000 in front of her.  So there was a lot kissing going on.
Aside from that, the first odd comment I heard from her was, “I have small boobs.”
Well, it is a well-known fact that people lie at a poker table.
Soon thereafter, I heard her say, “Spank me.  Spank me.”
I turned around and saw that she was standing up and had turned her back to the dealer, who was my pal Jack.  She was a bit bent over, so she was pretty much thrusting her ass in Jack’s face, demanding to be spanked.  I think this was in lieu of a kiss for a half-pot sized tip, but am not sure.
Jack of course could not “spank” her, even if he wanted to.  He gently patted her safely on her shoulder.  Didi reluctantly decided that this was close enough to the spanking she was demanding and sat down and gave Jack his tip.
Referring to her poker play, she announced that she was “tight as a ten-year old.”  I thought that was in remarkably bad taste, but she continued.  “I know I’m tight.  I’m tight because this barely fits.”  By “this” she meant the two fingers of hers, her index and middle fingers, she was now holding up, closed together, in front of her.  And then she bent over her third finger, extended her pinkie and….well, if you don’t see where she was going with that, you’re probably better off not knowing.
Didi had such a mountain of chips in front of her at one point that she wanted to color them up to $100 bills (perfectly ok as long as she kept the bills on the table, which she did).  Jane, the floorperson I’ve mentioned a number of times before (see here for one example) was called over to take her red chips and exchange them for bills.  But she didn’t bring her a chip rack with her and went to look for one.
“I have a big rack,” Didi said.  And so Jane replied, “I do too.” A fact which has already been mentioned here.
Jane was wearing a suit jacket and that comment caused Didi to grab the jacket and open it a bit so she could get a better look.
Women get away with murder.  If I had tried that, I would have gotten slapped, and kicked out of the room.  Not that I would ever consider such a thing, mind you.
Then, kinda/sorta referring to the poker, she said, “I have a big pair.  I have a big poker pair.  My pocket pair is bigger than yours.”  I really don’t think she was referring to her hand, though.
When Jane took away 4 stacks of red to get the bills, she said to Didi, “You’re $400 behind.”  To which Didi replied, “I like it from behind.”
Much later, I heard her refer to herself as a “backdoor girl.”  I’m sure she meant she was always chases those backdoor flushes.  Yeah, yeah, that’s what she meant.
I guess there is one poker hand of mine I can squeeze in here, because I actually think Didi played a part in it.  I raised preflop with a pair of Aces.  I bet $14 because there several limpers.  One of the really good players at the table called, as did a weak player.  The flop was King high, two diamonds and I didn’t have the Ace of diamonds.  I bet out $30 and the weak player folded but the good player called.  Black queen on the turn, I bet $50 and the good player starts fumbling with his chips and looks like he’s going to raise.  Since I figure he’s doing this to get a read on me, I look away.  I turn to see Didi behind me leaning over, with her elbows on the table.  The effect was to create a rather generous view of the aforementioned 36DD’s.  I admit that got my attention for a second or two.
When I turned back to my game, I saw the guy playing with his chips for another second or two and then just folding.  I think the indifference that I was exhibiting by looking away convinced him I wasn’t worried about his raising. Maybe he was thinking, “This guy is checking out boobies when it looks like I’m gonna raise? He must want me to raise.”
Soon thereafter, I heard Didi say, “I’ve got the nuts.  No, I don’t have nuts.  I have big tits.”
Now she was telling the truth.  I glanced behind me and was rather surprised to see that she wasn’t just claiming to have big tits.  She was attempting to prove it.  Because there she was, pulling her t-shirt down to fully reveal her purple bra. That part of this story was teased here, complete with a picture of a blonde showing off her purple bra (in case you don’t know what a purple bra looks like).  Note, that blonde is not Didi (nor is the girl below).  She didn’t just quickly flash the top of her bra, either.  She pulled the shirt down completely below it, and sat there with her bra (and a whole lot of cleavage) fully exposed for quite a few seconds.  Also, she kind of felt herself up, touching the ta-ta’s from both the outside of bra and digging in the bra a little to get a better feel.

For those who won't click the links, this is what a purple bra looks like
I’ve played a far amount of poker the past few years and I’d never quite seen anything like that in a poker room.  I’m pretty sure that is a non-standard play.  So, at the risk of spoiling a future blog post (i.e., this one), I sent out the following tweet to all my followers: “Just saw a girl playing 2/5 announce, ‘I've got big tits’ and then pull down her top to reveal her purple bra. She kinda felt herself up too.”
Two of my female followers, who were presumably nowhere near where I was playing, tweeted back that it wasn’t them!  Several male tweeters demanded that I post pictures of the event.  You know, “pics or it didn’t happen.”  Interesting, these tweets are no longer available to me but I know I got them.  And then there was good ol’ Poker Grump, retired from poker but checking in with this tweet from Asheville, NC: “You just condensed what would normally be a 10,000 word blog post into 140 characters.”  Of course, I replied, “Fear not, Grump. The inevitable 10,000 word blog post is coming.”
Sadly, I don’t think this post will make it to 10,000 words.
I replied to those that wanted pics that it would be impossible and that I doubted she would even flash her bra again.
But I was wrong about that.  She flashed her bra at least three more times during the evening that I saw.  I don’t recall the context of those other times, but at least once she said, as she covered up, “I guess I should tuck them back in.”  And reached into her bra to do so, before pulling up her shirt.
One other time that I recall her doing this was when I heard someone say, “they’re kinda nice.”  I’m not sure what he was referring to but Didi took it to mean her boobs.  “They’re very nice,” she said and then dropped her shirt again to reveal her bra, and I guess prove her point about them being very nice.
As far as I could tell, no floor person or higher ups saw her do this, but the (male) dealers sure did and did not request that she either refrain from doing this or cover up.
I guess I should comment here a bit about Didi’s outrageous behavior.  No doubt she is doing this distract the other players, especially the male players.  She has basically taken the Jennifer Tilly effect to the extreme, not just showing off her cleavage but talking explicitly about her big tits and other risqué topics.  And of course, flashing her bra.
Around this time, an older woman passed by that Didi apparently had played with before.  Didi flagged her down to say hi and then added, “Oh, you should try to get on this table. It’s a fun table.” Then she added, “And you’ve got big boobs too.”
The woman didn’t seem that surprised by the comment and just said, “Why, thank you.”
Why do I get the feeling if it had been me who had said that she had big boobs, the reaction would have been totally different?
From a distance, it became apparent that Didi’s luck had changed, and her stack had diminished a bit.  When she lost, she would occasionally get nasty but then catch herself.  She apparently missed her card and I heard her say, “Oh, I was one jack off.  Don’t make fun of me, assholes…..I love you all.”
Not sure if there was any context at all for it but I heard her say, “I’ve got really big tits.”  Apparently since she had been playing they had gone from just big to really big.  I couldn’t help turning around when I overheard this and she noticed me and again called me “Patch Adams.”
This time I called her on it. “Patch Adams?  That’s what you’re gonna call me?  The most obscure Robin Williams character ever?”  I considered telling her the name I’d already picked out for her, but didn’t.
“Yes, it’s Patch Adams.  Why don’t you come over here and kiss me?”
Hmm.  I assumed she meant a little peck on the cheek as the dealers who she had tipped had done.  I honestly couldn’t think of a reason not to.  And I thought giving her the peck on the cheek would make for a noteworthy bit in the inevitable blog post that was being written in my mind as the evening progressed.
But as I had just been dealt two cards, I would have to wait.  By the time I mucked my hand (pocket Kings, of course) and got up to go over to her to give her the peck on the cheek, she was in the middle of a big hand and I had to walk back to my table without kissing her.  A player at her game said, “I think she was kidding about the kiss,” but I said, “No, I don’t think she was.”
As I waited for another opportunity, I began to think about the requests I had gotten for a pic of her exposing her bra. I knew I couldn’t take a pic like that secretively.  But what if I asked for her to pose and she agreed?  She just might, outrageous as she was.  Dare I ask?  Dare I tell her that my twitter followers demanded it?  I thought about it.  I hadn’t mentioned her on the blog yet.  But if she found out about the blog before I wrote about the first night (let alone this one), it might inhibit me when I wrote about her.  Did I have the guts to ask for a pic?
I was trying to figure out just how big my balls were, but alas, I never got a chance to find out.  Initially, the problem was I kept waiting for he not to be in a hand, and that just didn’t happen.
Meanwhile, the dealer at my game was Rita, who, oddly enough has already her rack discussed on this very blog (see here). She noticed me talking to Didi.  But the Dutch guys at my table were also talking to her, and were very interested in how she was doing, especially when she had that massive amount of chips in front of her.  I think they were considering trying to get into her game and taking some of those chips from her.
Rita noticed the Dutch guys’ interest in her and I said to her, “She’s kind of an attraction, there, isn’t she?”  Rita said, “Yeah, her play, her attitude…”  and I said “her big stack.”  To which Rita whispered to me, “Her big rack.”
Feigning shock, I said to Rita, ‘You said that, I didn’t….at least aloud.”  Rita responded with, “Yeah, I’m a pretty good mind reader.”  And I just laughed and said, “I think that one was pretty easy to read.”
I was still looking for an opportunity to go over and give Didi the peck on the cheek.  Now I was kinda hoping when I did it, I’d have the courage to at least mention the purple bra, and maybe if she flashed it for me (as I suspect she would have), I’d find the guts to ask for a pic.  But as I kept looking over there, I noticed that Didi’s stack was diminishing dramatically.  The Dutch boys reported that she had just lost a huge hand and a lot of chips.  Then I looked over a short time later and there was a big commotion over there.  I saw a hand that was over and Didi had apparently just lost another big pot.  I went over to look.
All I saw was the aftermath.  They were counting some guys chips to pay him off, he was the winner.  In front of him were the dreaded pocket Kings.  The board had a pair of 8’s (one on the flop and one on the turn) and a King on the river.  Didi apparently had an 8.  I think she may have turned a smaller full house than Kings full, and I’m sure it was pushed all in on the turn, and the guy with the Kings rivered his full house to win a monster pot.
I didn’t see how much but when I looked back over there after the pot was settled, she was buying more chips, although she was probably using the hundreds she had left, not actually rebuying.  Still, considering the stack she had in front of her just a few moments before, it was shocking.
I didn’t see what happened next, but we then noticed Didi had gotten up from the table and was heading out.  I saw her drink was still in her seat but there were no chips left.  The Dutch boys asked her if she was done.  “No, no, I just need to hit the ATM and rebuy.  I got sucked out on a few times.”
Wow.  She had lost at least $4K, actually more like $5K if you count the at least $1K in tips I mentioned at the outset (and that was only to three dealers, it was likely a total of well more than that).
The Dutch guys suggested she move to our table.  She said she would do that….but when she returned, she sat down at her old seat in the 2/5 game and played there.
But not for very long.  I looked around not long after and she was gone.  She had lost the $500 she rebought for and had taken off without saying a word.
This was my last night of that trip, but my contacts in the room told me that Didi didn’t return to the poker room the entire time I was back home.  However, I did see her a couple of times on my most recent visit.  She was back playing 1/2.  I guess getting up so far ahead and then losing it all (and then some) at 2/5 took it’s toll on her.  I didn’t play with her either time I saw her, and wasn’t close enough to her table to tell how she was doing (or hear any outrageous comments).  As far as I know her bra was kept under wraps the entire time.
Ultimately it was a rough nite for Didi, but she plays wild, aggressive poker and this night she got burned. And gratuitously showed a bunch of poker players her purple bra.
