EXCITING NEWS REGARDING AVPT NO LIMIT EVENT!!!

I won an entry in the very first All Vegas Poker Tour event.

It's a $350 entry tournament, so it's quite a step up for me, but the good news, it's a freeroll for me. So I may as well shove with 7-2 off on the first hand and take a shot.

I will try to tweet updates but I do find that to be distracting for me when I'm in a tournament. Day one is Friday, 3/30/12, starting at Noon, Pacific Time.

    AVP gave out a couple entries. one of them was a raffle based on how often you retweeted AVP stories. I think Rob that one.

    Yeah, grouch, Vook is correct, I won the drawing based on retweeting AVP's tweets about trip reports and room reviews. If you look at my tweets for the past week, you'll see I did that a lot and it paid off.

    If nothing else, I should get a nice blog post out of this. One that featured me cashing would be really, really, REALLY nice.

      Cashing? How about winning? Winning a Tournament is the best feeling in poker. Like you are on top of the World.

      Yeah, WEC, winning the thing would have been sweet, to say the least. At this stage of my poker life, I thinking just cashing in a multi-day event was/is the most I could possibly hopeful. Maybe one day....
